fiber optic communication



Fiber optic communication is sending information from one place to another by "sending pulses of light through optical fiber." Because of its advantages, optical fiber has replaced copper wire communications. It has been around since the 1970s and played a major role in the Information Age.
Fiber optics are used by many telecommunication companies. It transmits telephone signals, internet communication can always be from fiber optics and cable television signals. Using fiber optics, there are little interruptions rather then that of copper wire.
